Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Paramedic/Firefighter to join Boone County Fire Protection #2. The role involves providing medical care and patient transportation as an EMT-P within the IDPH/EMS Illinois scope of practice.

Qualifications include Paramedic License, Firefighter II or Basic Operations, CPR, and IL driver's license with ACLS/PALS to be trained by Metro. Candidates must have 1 year of experience, be at least 21, and pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen,

Qualifications

• Paramedic License is required.
• Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification required.
• 1 year EMS experience required.
• CPR Certification required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License required.
• ACLS and PALS training will be provided by Metro.
• Successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.

We are currently seeking a full-time Paramedic/Firefighter for our Boone County Fire Protection #2

The basic function of theParamedic/Firefighter is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at theParamedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.

Qualifications

Paramedic/Firefighter Qualifications:

• Paramedic License
• Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification
• 1 year experience
• CPR Certified
• 21 Years of age
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• ACLS (Metro will train)
• PALS (Metro will train)
