Job summary

Pediatric Dental Anesthesia Associates in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Paramedic / EMT to join our pediatric-focused anesthesia team. This role offers a flexible PRN schedule with minimal on-call expectations, and no nights or weekends.

You will travel to various pediatric dental offices within a two-hour radius, assist with anesthesia support, lift patients safely, and provide compassionate care to young patients throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in pediatric care, surgical intervention/anesthesia, and/or critical care.
• Ability to travel to different pediatric dental offices within a 2 hour radius of home.

Responsibilities

• Travel to pediatric dental offices within a 2 hour radius to provide paramedic/EMT support.
• Assist with patient positioning, lifting, and monitoring during procedures.
• Provide compassionate care to young patients in outpatient settings.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in pediatric care, surgical intervention/anesthesia, and/or critical care
• Ability to travel to different pediatric dental offices within a 2 hour radius of your home.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, including assisting with the safe movement and positioning of pediatric patients and equipment. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform occasional bending, reaching, and lifting as required by the position.
