Job summary

ARMADA is seeking a Paramedic & EMT Instructor to deliver classroom and field training for EMTs and Paramedics to enhance trauma care capabilities for military personnel at Wilford Hall, San Antonio. The role requires delivering standardized instruction and ensuring safety and compliance with DoD and DHA guidelines.

The instructor will oversee curriculum, conduct manikin checks, and support program coordination with documentation and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• The courses will be held 3 weeks a month, with a one-week break for manikin maintenance, supplies, environment review of the grounds and administrative duties.
• Paramedic & Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Instructor shall provide in classroom and field - education and training to prepare students to assess, advise, and react, effectively during emergency and/or trauma situations.
• Training manikin checks and safety walk around of the field areas.
• Provide a nursing overview for competencies. The course is designed for all different Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) and having clinical personnel will buffer technicians with a para-professional person.
• The Paramedic & Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Instructor shall facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to training in trauma care, quality, and cost effectiveness.
