Job summary

Six Flags New England seeks a qualified EMT-Paramedic to join our Safety Department in Northampton, MA. The role involves delivering high‑quality life support care in a pre-hospital setting, performing audits, and coordinating with local EMS, Fire, and Police services to ensure guest safety and swift transportation.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, enforcing park policies, and supporting the Safety team in all duties.

Qualifications

• MA EMT-Paramedic certification is required.
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
• MA driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits and inspections per Safety Department management.
• Support and uphold the Safety Department goals and objectives.
• Provide Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support to patients per local protocols.
• Interact with EMS, Fire, and Police to promote patient care and transportation.
• Document data input and information handling as required.
• Respond and assist per the Emergency Response Guide.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance (fueling, fluids, etc.).
• Enforce all Six Flags New England policies.
• Assist in other areas of the Safety Department.
• Perform other incidental and related duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Performing audits and inspections as directed by the Safety Department management
• Supporting and up-holding the mission, goals, and objectives of the Safety Department
• Providing quality basic life support care to include Basic Life Support (BLS) skills and Advanced Life Support (ALS) skills on patients in the pre-hospital setting as indicated by the MA Office of Emergency Medical Services regional and local treatment protocols, as observed or indicated on the BLS Patient Care Report
• Interacting with other EMS, Fire, and Police services as required to promote patient care and transportation
• Complying with departmental requirements regarding documentation, data input, and information handling
• Responding and assisting as directed in the Six Flags New England Emergency Response Guide
• Performing minor vehicle maintenance (fueling, fluid checks, air, washing, etc.) as required
• Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies
• Assisting in other areas of the Safety Department
• Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts EMT – Paramedic Certification
• Current Advanced Life Support card
• Current MA licensed driver without serious moving violations
• Ability to interact in a professional and positive manner with large groups of people
• Friendly, outgoing personality, and the ability to address guest concerns
• Current MA licensed driver without serious moving violations
• Willing to work in a high performance team environment
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
• Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
