Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Paramedic for its Emergency Room to deliver high-quality patient care under the Medical Director’s guidance. You will work under the charge nurse for shift assignments and ensure patient care tasks align with department goals.

The role requires BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (or instructors) within specified timeframes and a minimum of one year of experience in an acute care environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience is required.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Paramedic will be able to provide quality care to patients under the direction of the Medical Director in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Medical City Healthcare. Reports to the charge nurse for shift assignments and direction of shift duties assigned. Each RN decides on a case-by-case basis what nursing tasks may be delegated to the unlicensed personnel in accordance with Rule 224 (relating to RN delegation in acute care settings or for patients with acute conditions).

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
