Atrium Health in Georgia seeks a certified Paramedic to administer approved IV solutions and medications under the direction of Medical Control, and to coordinate safe patient transport to the appropriate facility.
You will maintain accurate EMS records, communicate with Medical Control, verify equipment and supplies, and ensure ambulance readiness while upholding safety and professional standards across all runs.
High school diploma or equivalent. State approved Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic course.
Valid driver's license. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and applicable state Paramedic certification.
Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries weight up to 50 pounds. Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols with vision and hearing within normal range to respond to Code alerts and equipment alarms. Work-related stress due to volume and time constraints with irregular working hours.
National Paramedic Certification Registry, Basic Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Life Support certification.
