Qualifications

• Technical School graduate of an accredited Paramedic program with current state license/certification required.
• 0-1 years of EMT-P experience required.
• 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care tasks in a safe, effective, and competent manner per standards and policies.
• Coordinates patient care with RNs and interdisciplinary team.
• Recognizes changes in patient status and assists with interventions.
• Completes accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Maintains clear communication with team, patients, and families.
• Safely administers medications following the five rights with EMR scanning.
• Facilitates patient throughput and emergency response as needed.
• Operates and maintains medical equipment for patient care.
