Job summary

Gundersen Health System is looking for a Full-time Paramedic at Tri‑State Ambulance. You will provide critical emergency care during patient transfers and must possess the skills required to keep patients safe and healthy.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a current and valid Driver’s License.
• Must maintain current certification as a Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) or equivalent.
• Must maintain current and valid Wisconsin, Minnesota, and NREMT NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care for patients being transferred between locations.
• Demonstrate the skills and knowledge of a Nationally Registered Paramedic.
• Inspect, safely operate, and maintain an emergency vehicle.

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks

Good working knowledge of policies and procedures

Education

High school diploma or GED

Completion of a qualified NREMT Paramedic program
