Job summary

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Florida is seeking a Paramedic to assess patients, administer advanced life support, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver critical care in the emergency department or during interfacility transport.

The qualifications include a Florida Paramedic License (or NR/NRP per facility), BLS and ACLS, PALS and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30–90 days, and 1–2+ years of field or clinical experience; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure: Current State of Florida Paramedic License (or National Registry/NRP depending on specific facility)

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), alongside Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (usually required within 30 to 90 days of hire).

• Experience: High school diploma or GED/vocational school graduate, with 1 to 2+ years of field or clinical hospital experience preferred
