Job summary

Methodist Northeast Hospital is seeking an experienced ED Paramedic to support patient care in the emergency department. You will participate in CQI projects, maintain clinical competence, and ensure accurate documentation while upholding the facility's mission and values.

The role requires Texas paramedic licensure (EMT-P), BLS, and at least two years of EMS or hospital field experience; you will use SBAR for clear communication and participate in required trainings and departmental meetings.

Qualifications

Job Summary and Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

• Education: Current certification/Licensure in the State of Texas as a Paramedic. EMT-P required. Current BLS Healthcare Provider.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a field Paramedic with an EMS agency and/or clinical experience working in a hospital.
• Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable).

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP), No Travel Required
• 2 years experience Required Years of Experience
