Job summary

FirstClass Healthcare is seeking a Paramedic to provide emergency medical care within the scope of certification under the direction of a licensed medical provider. The Paramedic will perform basic and advanced life support, and non-emergency medical care to treat illnesses and injuries in a correctional setting.

Travel to various sites within the Southern Region is required, with incentive pay available. Applicants must be graduates of an accredited Paramedic program, hold Georgia licensure,

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Paramedic Program.
One year related experience in a medical environment.
Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the duties.

Responsibilities

Performs basic and advanced life support patient care and assessments.
Coordinates emergency care procedures with nursing and medical staff.
Develops and utilizes triage skills to provide efficient care.
Ensures security of medications during administration and prioritizes safety.
Reports adverse patient events or reactions to a supervisor.
Maintains confidentiality and rights of patients and health information in line with policies and regulations.
