Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Paramedics in Washington County, Oregon, to deliver essential pre-hospital care and lead EMS responses.

You'll perform advanced patient care using defibrillators, EKG monitors, IV therapy, and monitored equipment, while coordinating with teams on the scene and driving ambulances during 911 responses. AMR offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Oregon State Paramedic License required.
  • State Driver’s License or equivalent.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS certifications required.
  • ICS 100/200/700/800 training required.
  • Must pass Physical Agility Test.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced care.
  • Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.

Pay Rate: $69,899.83 - $110,171.00 depending on experience

We’re hiring Paramedics in Washington County that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and basic, as well as advanced, patient care to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
  • Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Oregon State Paramedic License
  • State Driver’s License
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS
  • ICS 100, 200, 700, 800
  • Driving record in compliance with company policyPass Physical Agility Test
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
