UVA Community Health in Virginia is seeking an Ambulance Attendant - ALS to transport patients between UVA Health sites and external facilities. The role requires EMT/Paramedic licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, EVOC, and a valid driver’s license.

Expect 7a–7p shifts with rotating weekends at Prince William Medical Center. Two years as a cleared ALS provider is preferred, and the candidate must stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and work independently in dynamic situations.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: 2 years as a cleared ALS provider with a 911 agency or equivalent preferred.
• Licensure: State EMT/Paramedic certification; EVOC; valid driver's license; AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS.

Aufgaben

• Transport patients of all ages between UVA Health facilities and other healthcare locations.
• Operate or assist with IV/IO access and ventilators as needed.
• Follow REMS and department protocols; respond to emergencies with clear judgment.
• Work rotating shifts as required; communicate effectively with patients and staff.
