Job summary

LifeCare Ambulance is seeking Paramedics in Memphis to deliver pre-hospital care and transport patients to facilities while continuing treatment during transport. You will assess conditions, administer medications, and perform advanced life support under local orders and ALS scope.

Requirements include TN paramedic licensure, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, CPR, and ability to lift 100+ lbs.

Qualifications

• Paramedic role requires maintaining composure under stress and delivering prehospital care.
• CPR certification and strong communication are essential for patient care and teamwork.
• Must hold Tennessee paramedic licensure and a valid driver’s license; background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital patient care as outlined by Standing Medical Orders.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls within scope of ALS training.
• Assess patient condition and determine appropriate treatment plan.
• Administer medications according to Standing Medical Orders.
• Perform advanced life support measures as trained.
• Mentor EMTs who are paramedic students (requires 1 year of experience or Preceptor certification).
