Job summary

Qualifications

• EMT-P license and state certification required.
• BLS, ACLS, PHTLS, and PALS certifications required.
• High school education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess and reassess patient condition and provide rescue interventions per Medical Director guidance when Medical Control is unavailable.
• Use critical thinking to assess patient needs and plan care.
• Delegate tasks to EMTs and First Responders and evaluate performance.
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members and EMS providers.
• Hands off care with concise reports to receiving nurses at transfer.
