Job summary

Eastern Area Prehospital Services (EAPS) seeks a Paramedic to provide emergency medical care and rescue services in accordance with laws, regulations, and EAPS policies. You will respond to calls, perform BLS/ALS, and coordinate with hospitals.

The role requires maintaining certifications, driving ambulances, documenting care, and upholding HIPAA. Previous EMS experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential; high stamina and ability to work under pressure are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current AEMT certification, CPR, EVOC and valid driver’s license.
• EMS or rescue experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls promptly and professionally.
• Assess patient conditions and provide Basic Life Support (BLS) care.
• Assess patient conditions and provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) care.
• Drive and operate ambulances safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient care and incident documentation.
• Inspect, restock, and maintain ambulances and equipment after calls.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA policies.
