Job summary

Pafford Emergency Medical Services in Mississippi seeks a dedicated paramedic to provide Advanced Life Support and coordinate EMS response across the service area. You will assess patients, administer care, document treatments, and communicate with receiving hospitals to ensure seamless transitions of care.

Responsibilities include leading scene operations, operating emergency vehicles, and maintaining equipment while pursuing ongoing education to uphold state and national certifications.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified paramedic with valid paramedic license.
• CPR for Health Care Providers required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of EMS procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides and directs fast, efficient Advanced Life Support to the ill and injured.
• Leads first-responder coordination at the scene.
• Maintains patient records and prepares hospital communications.
• Operates emergency vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Attends continuing education to maintain certification.
