Job summary

The City of Sun Prairie EMS Department is seeking Paramedics to fill one anticipated full-time vacancy and potential LTE openings. This position provides direct staff support for EMS calls, ensures ambulances and equipment are clean and in optimum condition, and manages inventory for on-ambulance and EMS facilities.

Starting Salary: Wage range reflects starting pay up to the 7 year step for lateral entry. Benefit package includes retirement, health, dental, disability, leave, and more.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current WI Paramedic license.
• CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications are required or equivalent.
• Valid WI driver's license and EVOC training completed.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and safely to EMS calls and assess patients.
• Perform advanced emergency procedures and administer medications as needed.
• Lead multi-casualty incident responses and coordinate resources.
• Conduct daily ambulance checks and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Maintain station cleanliness and perform routine maintenance tasks.
