Job summary

Global Medical Response (AMR) is hiring Paramedics for immediate full-time and part-time opportunities. Base pay ranges from $26.33 to $30.53 per hour, depending on experience, with a $15K sign-on bonus for full-time paramedics.

The role involves delivering high-quality, compassionate care, using advanced equipment and protocols, and driving ambulances on 911 calls. Both new and experienced paramedics are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Paramedic license required and current.
• Active driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NREMT-Paramedic certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best action per Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead the Paramedic team on scene and manage unit responsibilities as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and other Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and relations.

We’re hiring Paramedics that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare
