Job summary

AmeriPro Health in Decatur, MS is seeking a Paramedic to deliver high-quality care in emergency settings and coordinate safe patient transport. You will perform assessments, ACLS interventions, and document care thoroughly while collaborating with EMTs, dispatch, hospitals, and public safety partners to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Applicants must hold current State Paramedic licensure and NREMT certification, with CPR/BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Paramedic or similar medical role experience.
• Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS); Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) training.
• Technology proficiency and ability to operate EMS equipment and digital reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessment and deliver ACLS interventions per AmeriPro EMS protocols.
• Provide safe, continuous monitoring and medical management during transport.
• Complete patient care reports accurately and promptly in the electronic system.
• Operate emergency vehicles safely following driving standards and safety guidelines.
• Ensure ambulance, equipment, and supplies are ready through routine checks and restocking.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, partner agencies, and receiving facilities.
