Job summary

Cataldo Ambulance Service, Inc. is seeking a Paramedic for the Boston area on a part-time basis. This role delivers emergency medical care, transport, and early intervention within a growing private EMS operation.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment, documentation, and safety, with collaboration alongside local agencies. Requires MA Paramedic Certification, National Registry Paramedic Certification, CPR and ACLS, and 1–3 years EMT B/A experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Massachusetts Paramedic Certification and National Registry Paramedic Certification; CPR and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in accordance with clinical policies, statewide protocol, and standards of care.
• Attend to patients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Operate the ambulance in accordance with safety rules and regulations; company policies; federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and statutes.
• Complete an ambulance and medical equipment checklist at the beginning of each assigned shift. Inspect and clean the assigned ambulance and all medical equipment to ensure compliance with minimum stock requirements and proper function.
• Complete and submit all documentation/paperwork PCR requirements daily.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external individuals, including agencies, physicians, and other healthcare providers at all times.
• Be knowledgeable of and comply with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties at assigned bases of operation
• Maintains knowledge of and complies with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times.
• Must maintain a reliable attendance and reports as scheduled and required
• Completes other duties as requested and assigned
