Job summary

Great River Health is seeking an emergency medical technician/paramedic to provide advanced emergency medical treatment and transport for ill or injured persons. Responsibilities include patient care, documentation, and coordination with medical teams, with on-call duties and 24-hour shift expectations.

A $5,500 sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants. Scheduled hours vary by need; the role includes driving an ambulance and maintaining equipment, while ensuring high-quality patient

Qualifications

• 1-3 years Experience in EMS at any level Required.
• Knowledge of patient care procedures and emergency response.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer drugs and provide life-support in pre-hospital settings.
• Assess illness/injury severity and prioritize care.
• Attend training and maintain certifications.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, treatment centers, and other emergency teams.
• Operate ALS equipment and document patient condition and treatment.
