Job summary

Global Medical Response (AMR) is hiring a Paramedic for a full-time position in Winder, GA. You will assess calls, provide advanced life support, and lead the on-scene Paramedic team while driving the ambulance on 911 responses.

The role requires a State Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS, and EMT credentials, plus a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Healthcare experience is preferred and physical agility is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License with BLS/ACLS and NREMT-Paramedic certification.
• Valid State Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Pass Physical Agility Test and healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess calls and determine best action using Paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced care with defibrillator, monitoring, oxygen, and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and family to explain care.
• Lead the Paramedic team on scene and manage unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.

Paramedic Basic IMMEDIATE HIRING! PARAMEDIC FULL-TIME Opportunity

We're hiring Paramedics that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and basic, as well as advanced, patient care to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver's License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
