Superior Ambulance Service is hiring EMTs and Paramedics to provide safe transportation and high-quality patient care across Ohio locations including Springfield and Bellevue.

You will read maps accurately, document patient conditions, and communicate clearly with medical teams while maintaining vehicle readiness. Flexible scheduling is offered with full- or part-time opportunities and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• EMT/Paramedic license or pending; must meet state requirements.
• Ability to provide medical care at EMT/Paramedic level while safely transporting patients.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; able to operate in varied conditions.
• Pass pre-employment interview, physical, lifting exam and drug screening.
• Attend company training and driving course.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care as stipulated in their training as a Paramedic.
• Provide safe transportation, to include accurately discerning street names through map reading, the ability to correctly distinguish house numbers, and addresses of business locations, in the most expedient manner, are essential.
• Appropriately assess a patient and accurately convey the condition to other medical professionals.
• Provide an accurate written report describing a patient's condition, medical history, and the treatment provided.
• Provide appropriate documentation for billing information.
• Maintain the vehicle in sanitary condition, in addition to monitoring all fluid levels and gauges.

• Possess a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record and must be able to safely operate a vehicle in various conditions, including daytime, nighttime, and inclement weather.
• Pass a pre-employment interview including a physical and lifting examination and a drug screening.
• Attend company-provided training and driving course.
