Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License and Ambulance Driver's License.
• Medical Examiners Card required.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS certifications.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass agility tests.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action per progressive protocols.

• Lead scenes and manage units when needed.
• Drive ambulances during emergency responses.

• Participating in community programs to enhance community relations and agency image.
