Job summary

Quality Innovation, Inc. seeks a Paramedic to deliver advanced prehospital care at Quantico, VA.

Duties include airway management, cardiac interventions, trauma resuscitation, pharmacology, rapid decisionmaking, and stabilizing patients before hospital arrival. You will support high‑risk events, provide medical training to staff (CPR/AED, first aid, bleeding control, tourniquet use), and maintain equipment and licensure (National Registry Paramedic, VA state license, ACLS).

Qualifications

• Active National Registry Paramedic Licensure and VA state licensure.
• ACLS certification required; PALS is optional.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Paramedic.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced prehospital care including airway management, cardiac interventions and trauma resuscitation.
• Stabilize critically ill or injured patients before hospital arrival.
• Respond to training accidents and high-risk events with rapid triage and trauma management.
• Deliver medical training to clinic staff (CPR/AED, first aid, bleeding control, tourniquet use).
• Maintain mission-ready medical equipment (trauma bags, AEDs, oxygen systems, airway equipment).

Paramedic

Duties shall include, but not limited to:

• advanced airway management,
• cardiac interventions,
• trauma resuscitation,
• pharmacology, and
• rapid decisionmaking under pressure

The job shall include responding to training accidents that are physically demanding and high risk.

Stabilize critically ill or injured patients before hospital arrival

Rapid triage, trauma management, environmental emergencies, and highacuity medical events

Support highrisk events such as:

• Firearms ranges
• Defensive tactics
• Arrest techniques
• Physical fitness testing
• Large-scale events and graduations
• Specialized training evolutions

Shall deliver medical training to clinic staff, including:

• CPR/AED
• First aid
• Bleeding control
• Tourniquet use
• Heat injury prevention
• Hydration protocols
• Rapid Medical and Trauma assessment in the field
• Carries and Litters for evacuation

Maintain missionready medical equipment:

• Trauma bags
• AEDs
• Oxygen systems
• Airway equipment
• Emergency kits for callouts and special events
• Zoll Propaq for cardiac monitoring

Licenses/Certifications:

Shall have the following:

• National Registry Paramedic Licensure and VA state licensure,
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS),
