Job summary

AMR is seeking a motivated Paramedic to deliver compassionate, high-quality care on every call. You will assess situations, apply advanced life support, and communicate clearly with patients and families.

Responsibilities include leading scenes as needed, operating defibrillators and monitors, driving 911 responses, and collaborating with health and public safety teams. A strong focus on community relations is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best action according to Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize paramedic skills on equipment including defibrillator, monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as team leader on scene and manage the unit when needed.
• Drive the ambulance during 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image and relations.

Job description

Paramedic – Starting at $25.00 / hour with credit given for experience.

We’re hiring paramedics who are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications
• Driving record compliant with company policy

• Some work experience, preferably healthcare
