Job summary

Wisconsinems in Monroe, WI is seeking a WI licensed Paramedic to join GCEMS operations. The role requires 24-hour shifts, weekend and holiday availability, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities include routine ambulance checks, restocking, cleaning, monitoring supplies and equipment, and maintaining patient care readiness. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• WI licensed Paramedic.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Able to work flexible hours (24 hr shift) including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Daily check of ambulances for supplies and cleanliness.
• Restock/replace missing items.
• Wash ambulances as needed.
• Check drug/equipment expiration dates; replace as necessary.
• Fill and/or change oxygen tanks as needed.
• Perform cleanup and disposal of contaminated items as needed.

Job description

Basic Requirements

• WI licensed Paramedic.Must maintain this level.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of radio procedures and etiquette.
• Able to work flexible hours (24 hr shift) including weekends and holidays.

• Possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

• Able to function under stressful situations.
• Able to meet and represent GCEMS to the general public.

• Able to use city and county maps to locate addresses.
• Assist chief and officers with GCEMS related tasks/projects as needed.

Equipment and Maintenance Requirements

Full Benefits Package

• California Swing Shift; average 56 hr work week.
