Job summary

AMR is hiring a Paramedic for a full-time position in Camden, TN. The role requires state paramedic licensure and related certifications. You will provide both basic and advanced patient care using standard EMS equipment and will lead on-scene operations as needed.

Expect on-site work with ambulance duties during 911 responses. Hourly rates start at $21.50 with DOE. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and driving record in good standing.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead a Paramedic team and manage scenes.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best action following Paramedic protocols.
• Use medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids) to provide care.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families to convey care and assurance.
• Serve as team leader on scene and manage unit operations as needed.
• Drive the ambulance during 911 responses and coordinate with public safety personnel.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health staff and fellow Paramedics.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation todeterminethe best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act asParamedicteam leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
