IMMEDIATE HIRING! PARAMEDIC Part‑time Opportunity in Benton, IL!

Starting Compensation: $24.58+ per hour or $66,464 annually for Full‑time Paramedics (based on local schedule, 24/48, equating to 2,496 annual work hours). $5K sign‑on bonus for full‑time Paramedics.

We’re hiring Paramedics passionate about delivering compassionate, high‑quality service and advanced patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine best action while following progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize medical equipment and procedures (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, IV fluids) to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and their loved ones to provide information and assurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and build strong relationships.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT‑Paramedic certifications.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.
