Small litigation law firm located in South Lawrence, MA seeks a bilingual Spanish-speaking paralegal, either part or full time, with flexible hours and 2-5 years experience handling personal injury and workman's compensation cases. Firm founded in 1989 with 2 attorneys and 3 paralegals.

Most clients are Spanish speakers. Work entails client interviews/intake, contacting insurance companies and medical providers, assembling files, pleadings, and typing legal memos for attorneys.

Qualifications

• Paralegal with 2–5 years experience in personal injury and workers' compensation.
• Bilingual Spanish required for client interviews and intake.
• Fast typist with strong Word and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client interviews and intake.
• Contact insurance companies and medical providers.
• Assemble files for insurance companies.
• Work on pleadings and draft memos and briefs.
• Typing of legal memos and briefs for attorneys.

FIRM WAS FOUNDED IN 1989 WITH 2 ACTIVE ATTORNEYS AND 3 PARALEGALS . MOST OF OUR CLIENTS ARE SPANISK SPEAKERS.

WORK ENTAILS CLIENT INTERVIEWS/INTAKE, CONTACTING INSURANCE COMPANIES AND MEDICAL PROVIDERS, ASSEMBLING FILES FOR INSURANCE COMPANIES, WORKING ON PLEADINGS, AND TYPING LEGAL MEMOS AND BRIEFS FOR THE ATTORNEYS. MUST BE A FAST TYPIST WITH KNOWLEDGE OF WORD, COMPUTERS , AND DICTAPHONE.
