Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification or degree in paralegal studies as described by the American Bar Association.
• One year of law-related experience under supervision of a CA State Bar attorney is preferred.
• Alternative pathways include a 24-unit law-related program with proper accreditation.
• A written declaration from supervising attorney confirming qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Drafts, prepares, files, and serves notices and simple legal documents.
• Coordinates and schedules witnesses for trials.
• Drafts routine case-file correspondence and documents for review.
• Interviews clients and gathers information for proceedings.
• Organizes filing systems and prepares case files for trial.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and court procedures.
