Job description

Summary

We are seeking a Paralegal to lead the work up of client cases from retention through resolution. As a Paralegal you are responsible for ensuring that every client’s claim is prepared thoroughly, filed properly, and positioned to achieve the highest potential recovery. You will play a critical role in preparing claims, gathering documentation, maintaining case data, and ensuring that matters move efficiently through the litigation process.

Responsibilities
  • Work up client cases from retention through resolution, ensuring all documentation, filings, and data are accurate and complete
  • Review client questionnaires and supporting documentation to determine statute of limitations, validate injuries and exposure, and identify cases requiring additional investigation or documentation
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, respond to inquiries, and ensure required documentation is collected in a timely manner
  • Review medical records and other evidence to confirm eligibility criteria, injury validation, and proof of use or exposure
  • Prepare case materials including case summaries, complaints, plaintiff fact sheets, supporting documentation, and other court‑required submissions for attorney review
  • Coordinate filing activities, including preparing complaints, serving summons, managing proof of service, and addressing deficiency requests
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date case information, documentation, and statuses within Litify, the firm’s case management system
Job Qualifications
  • Associates degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume litigation environment
  • This role is on‑site, which gives you the chance to be fully immersed in the work and gain direct experience alongside the team. We’ve found that being in the office helps new team members get up to speed quickly and feel more connected.
