The Law Office of Bryan Fagan in Dallas is seeking a paralegal specializing in family law to support case ownership from inception to resolution with empathy and professionalism.

You will handle drafting, discovery, trial prep, and ensure accurate calendaring and filings while collaborating with attorneys to deliver elite representation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of dedicated Texas Family Law paralegal experience.
• Proficiency in E-Filing across state court portals and local rules.
• Fluent with Clio/MyCase, Google Suite, and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Case Ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of family law and EPG matters from inception through resolution.
• Strategic Drafting: Craft pleadings, motions, and complex discovery responses with technical accuracy.
• Discovery & Inventory: Lead discovery and inventory, tracing separate property funds and identifying red flags.
• Trial Readiness: Partner with attorneys to curate trial exhibits and manage trial notebooks.
• Administrative Precision: Oversee court filings, calendaring for hearings and deadlines, and billable hours.

What You’ll Do

Our paralegal teams are the backbone of our advocacy and practice strategy. We strive to provide a true team-based environment that protects your work-life balance. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in family law to drive meaningful results for our clients, navigating them through their toughest chapters with professionalism and empathy.

• Case Ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of family law and EPG (Estate Planning/Guardianship) matters from inception through resolution.
• Strategic Drafting: Craft substantive pleadings, motions, and complex discovery responses with a high degree of technical accuracy.
• Discovery & Inventory: Lead the discovery and inventory process, including tracing separate property funds and identifying "red flags" in complex financial affidavits or business valuations.
• Trial Readiness: Partner with attorneys to curate trial exhibits, organize trial notebooks, and manage ongoing RFOs (Requests for Order).
• Administrative Precision: Oversee court filings, maintain rigorous calendaring for hearings and deadlines, and ensure billable hours are captured accurately.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: At least 2+ years of dedicated Texas Family Law experience as a paralegal.
• Technical Mastery: Proficiency in E-Filing across various state court portals and staying current with local rules.
• Software Expert: Fluent in Clio/MyCase, Google Suite, and modern document management systems.
• Ethical Anchor: A professional who understands the line between legal information and legal advice and remains calm under the pressure of emotionally charged litigation.
• Team Leader: A self-starter capable of providing mentorship and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
