Qualifications

• 3+ years paralegal experience in a law firm.
• Civil litigation experience required.
• Familiarity with web-based legal research services.
• Experience with paperless files; iManage experience a plus.
• Must successfully pass a background/drug screen.
• Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate from ABA-approved program required.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with discovery and trial preparation.
• Manage discovery and records, subpoenas, and responses.
• Summarize medical and employment records; create chronologies.
• Review and synthesize records in tort cases, including transcripts.
• Motion writing, including oppositions and discovery motions.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel; learn case management systems.
• Organize and prioritize tasks with attention to detail; track billable time.
