Lois Law Firm in Paramus, New Jersey is seeking a dedicated paralegal to join our growing litigation team. You will work directly with an attorney to help defend workers’ compensation cases in New York and New Jersey while building your paralegal skills.

We offer a 90-day hands-on training program to learn our systems and casework approach so you can hit the ground running. There’s strong team support, independent workdays, and reimbursement for a notary license as part of our comprehensive

Qualifications

• Associate's degree is required.
• ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate from an ABA‑approved organization or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience as a paralegal or in the legal field is appreciated but not required.
• Familiarity with legal research.
• Deadline‑and detail‑oriented.
• Candidates must secure a notary license (Lois LLC will reimburse costs).
• Role is exclusively in Paramus, New Jersey office.

Lois Law Firm is seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join our growing litigation team. In this role, you’ll work directly with an attorney to help defend some of the country’s most recognized employers in New York and New Jersey workers’ compensation cases. We’re looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and ready to stand up and advocate for our clients.

You’ll receive consistent support as you build your paralegal skills and confidence. We offer a 90-day hands‑on training program to help you learn our systems and casework approach so you can hit the ground running. Once you’re up to speed, there’s no micromanagement. You’ll have the tools to manage your days independently, with a team always there when you need it.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a paralegal or in the legal field is appreciated but not required.
• An associate’s degree is required.
• A Certificate in Paralegal Studies from an ABA‑approved organization or a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Successful candidates must be ambitious and driven, possess a strong work ethic, and have good organizational skills.
• Familiarity with legal research.
• Ability to utilize critical thinking skills to push claims forward to closure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Deadline‑and detail‑oriented.
• Candidate must secure a notary license (Lois LLC will reimburse for associated costs).
• This role is exclusively in our Paramus, New Jersey, office.

CLEAR COMPENSATION

At LOIS, all Paralegals have a base hourly starting pay and the ability to earn up to $10,000 in non‑discretionary bonuses each year, paid quarterly.
