Job description

Established Montgomery County Law Firm seeks an experienced Family Law Paralegal for


an in-person position in our Norristown office. Candidates must have at least two years of Pennsylvania family law experience and be able to work independently in a busy practice involving divorce, equitable distribution, custody, support, and PFAs. Our family law practice included matters primarily in Montgomery County, as well as the surrounding Counties.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Preparing and electronically filing pleadings and documents with court e-file system

  • Preparing and responding to discovery, obtaining, and reviewing client records

  • Communicating with clients, opposing counsel and court personnel

  • Maintaining case files, deadlines, preparing exhibits and materials for court

  • Scheduling hearings, conferences and other court proceedings

  • Assisting attorneys with preparation for hearings, conferences and trials


Qualifications:


  • 2+ years Family Law experience

  • Ability to work independently, and with others

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail

  • Familiarity with CLIO software preferred, but not required
