Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced paralegal to support civil litigation matters in a fast-paced environment. You will assist attorneys, manage discovery, and help prepare for trial.

The role requires 2+ years in the legal field, with insurance defense exposure preferred. Paralegal certification is a plus, but not mandatory, and strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing civil litigation matters for trial.
• Receive discovery documents from clients such as medical records, billing records, employment files, and video footage.
• Review, analyze, and summarize medical records.
• Draft motions, discovery responses, and other documents.
• Draft subpoenas to providers and records retrieval companies.
• Set up independent medical examinations (IMEs).
• Prepare for trial.

• Work with clients to receive discovery documents such as medical records, billing records, employment files, video footage from accident, etc.
• Review discovery materials – analyze and summarize medical records
• Draft motions and discovery responses as well as other documents
• Draft and send out Subpoenas to providers and records retrieval companies
• Set up independent medical examinations (IMEs)
• Prepare for trial
