Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of paralegal experience, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Paralegal Studies or related field.
  • Strong understanding of legal case management procedures.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Adobe Acrobat/Foxit PDF, Gmail/Outlook, and Google Drive.
  • Excellent proofreading, spelling, and grammar skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare motions, discovery requests/responses, proposed orders, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct basic legal research and gather case-related information.
  • Organize and maintain legal files and case documents.
  • Draft correspondence, memoranda, and other legal communications.
  • Assist with case management, including scheduling hearings and depositions.
  • Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, and case schedules.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Handle administrative duties including data entry, filing, and phone calls.
  • Maintain accurate time and case records and meet a 5 billable-hour daily requirement.
