Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development, instructional strategies and practices applicable to assignment, and instructional goals and policies.
• Ability to assist with implementation of the instructional program and to monitor appropriate student behavior.
• Ability to read/write/speak English and interact with students with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student mastery of grade-level or above curriculum.
• Provide instructional and classroom management supports to teachers and students.
• Perform related clerical tasks to support teachers and staff.
