Vancouver Public Schools is seeking a Paraeducator, Learning Support to provide one-on-one assistance to students under the supervision of a certificated teacher. The role is non-exempt, 6.5 hours per day for 9 months per year, with duties including supporting individualized goals and classroom activities.
Responsibilities include data entry, progress monitoring, collaboration with the education team, and using adaptive technologies as needed.

Salary & Time Off: New employees start at the minimum hourly rate in the salary range. However, employees with verified prior years of service in a similar occupational status from other Washington School Districts or Educational Service Districts may receive experience credit toward salary placement. Salary schedules can be accessed here. Vancouver Public Schools also offers paid holidays and paid time off, including sick, vacation, personal, and bereavement leave, as detailed in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (VAESP CBA).
