Job summary

CVSD is seeking a paraeducator to support CI/CMI, AI, BI programs within the district. You will work in a structured classroom, assisting with instructional activities and student supervision.

Work schedule is 7 hours per day, 190 days per year, from 8:40 AM to 3:40 PM. Classified staff enjoy a paid lunch and access to SEBB benefits when eligible, with retirement options for longer-term employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist students under CI/CMI, AI, BI programs as part of a paraeducator team.
• Support classroom activities and behavior management during 7-hour daily shifts.

Benefits: Employees anticipated to work more than 630 hours per year are eligible for benefits through the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB). Positions anticipated to work 70 hours or more per month for at least 5 months over a 12-month period are eligible for retirement through the State Department of Retirement Services.
