Job Description

Green Mountain Union High School is seeking a paraprofessional educator for the 2026-2027 school year. The following are requirements of this demanding position.

• Assist during teacher directed instruction
• Monitor students during independent or group activities
• Prepare curriculum materials with direction from the teacher
• Monitor student safety in a variety of settings
• Work with students who are diverse learners
• Help students access curriculum, with support
• Help with student accommodations and modifications
• Support social interaction with students
• Any other duty assigned by the supervisor in supporting students

The ideal candidate should have a high level of energy and work well with all students. The hourly rate will be commensurate with experience and driven by the collective bargaining agreement ($17.35 - $21.50 per hour, currently under negotiations and is expected to increase).
