Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Pensacola, FL seeks a Sewing Operator for day shifts (4:00am–2:30pm). You will sew and assemble parachute materials, operate multiple sewing machines, read work instructions, and maintain quality and safety standards. Expect teamwork, material handling, and routine paperwork.

Qualification includes US citizen/PR status, ability to lift 40 lbs, and a high school degree or equivalent. Training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret work instructions in English.
• Comfort working with various sewing machines and tools.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewing and related machines per approved methods.
• Read MWIs, inspection checklists, MIL-STD, and drawings.
• Use measuring tools and verification devices.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and equipment.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Prepare raw materials: pin, mark, trim as needed.
• Cut textiles with a variety of cutting tools.
• Complete paperwork and keep records up to date.
• Assist in training new operators.
