Job summary

Boston Speech Therapy is seeking a dedicated Para Professional to support classroom staff and provide individualized assistance to students with diverse learning needs in both classroom and therapeutic settings.

The role focuses on delivering instructional activities, one-on-one student support, behavior management, and collaboration with teachers to implement IEPs. 1099 contract, full-time with a pay of $27 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate’s degree in Education or a related field preferred.
• Experience with children, especially in special education settings, is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques is beneficial.
