Job summary

Muskegon Public Schools is seeking a paraprofessional for the 2026/2027 academic year. The position is full-time and hourly, with a starting rate of $19.67 per hour. Reports to Building Principal or Designee and requires certification and background checks.

Requirements include an associate degree or higher (or 60 college hours or ETS score 460), TCI certification, CPR/First Aid/AED, and a pre-employment physical. Benefits are provided per district policy.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher plus related coursework; or 60 semester hours; or ETS Paraprofessional Assessment score of 460.
• TCI certification within two district training opportunities from hire date.

Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Starting hourly rate $19.67 at 35 hours per week and 185 days per year.
