Job summary

Regional School District #4 is seeking a Para Educator for Valley Regional High School, John Winthrop Middle School, Chester Elementary School, Deep River Elementary School and/or Essex Elementary School.

Responsibilities include supporting students with academic and behavioral needs, collaborating with staff across settings, and maintaining confidentiality. Experience with literacy, math, behavior management, and inclusion is preferred. 35 hours per week. Start date ASAP.

Para Educator

Summary:

The Region No. Four Supervision District has a Para Educator position available at one of our schools: Valley Regional High School, John Winthrop Middle School, Chester Elementary School, Deep River Elementary School and/or Essex Elementary School.

Candidates should demonstrate an ability to: collaborate in multiple educational settings, to work with students with academic and behavioral needs, be flexible, maintain confidentiality, and show passion and enthusiasm for their assignment.

Experience working with a wide range of related service providers and support staff to meet the needs of diverse learners preferred. Experience in Literacy, DTI, Math, behavior management, one on one, and inclusion preferred. 35 hours a week.

Hourly Pay Range: $20.75 $24.68

Requirements

• A passing score on ParaPro certificate (457) or Associates Degree or 60 college credits.

Assignment: Valley Regional High School
