Dayton Area School Consortium is seeking a Para Aide Substitute to support students under the supervision of a certified teacher. This position pays $17.50 per hour and requires background checks, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to meet No Child Left Behind standards.
The candidate should be able to cope with stressful situations, lift and manage special needs children when necessary, and communicate effectively in writing and speech.

Must pass BCI and FBI fingerprint checks
Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or its equivalency.
Must meet No Child Left Behind standards (i.e., Associate Degree from an accredited institution, or completed at least two years of study, defined as 48 semester hours, or pass a formal State assessment.
Ability to cope with stressful situations as related to special needs children.
Physically capable to safely and appropriately lift and manage special needs children when necessary.
Demonstrated effective communication skills, both oral and written.
