Reporting to the VP of MAD Operations the Machine Superintendent is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a paper machine at the Madawaska mill.
The Machine Superintendent spends 65% of the time in an office environment preparing reports and attending meetings. The other 35% of the time is spent providing support to direct reports and promoting safe work practices in a mill environment where the incumbent can be exposed to high noise levels, hazardous chemicals, wet and/or humid conditions, electrical hazards, dust, walking and climbing stairs.
Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field.
Some college or better.
