Job summary

Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a full-time Cafeteria Worker to assemble, display and serve food for employees, medical staff, volunteers and visitors. You will assist across the cafeteria, including the main serving line, deli, grill, pizza area and specialty bars, and operate cash registers.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in food service. Shift: Days, FTE 1.0.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, displays, and serves food and fast food grill items for employees, medical staff, volunteers, and visitors.
• Assists in all areas of the cafeteria, including the main serving line, deli, grill, pizza area, specialty bars, and cash registers.
• Receives and records cash transactions and balances cash drawers when working cash registers.
